Pain, Grief, Sadness....LIFE

My heart is aching for so many of you as you go through this thing called life!
Life certainly isn't always easy. Whether it be a longing to have a baby, a miscarriage, depression, loss of a loved one, cancer, loss of a job, and the list could go on and on. I do know about pain, I've been there and will be there again. My little struggle these days is knowing that this is my first baby that my Mom will not be holding in her arms. But yet I count my blessings that she had the opportunity to be a grandma to my first 4 children.

Some people say to me that they think I have it all together, and I love to share that my life isn't always easy. We NEED to share our sorrows more often. I understand we don't want to share with everyone, but we need to stop pretending that we have it all together all the time. A song from Casting Crowns comes to mind...Plastic People. The gest of the song is that we all hurt, but we pretend to everyone else that we have it all together.

So, why do we have hardships? I really believe the Lord puts us through things so that when someone else around us is going through it, we can come along side and help them. And I firmly believe that the Lord KNOWS our pain, feels each tear we cry, and wraps His Almighty Arms around us. He sent His ONLY SON for us, who didn't even love Him.

Here is a song that I hope you enjoy and can be an encouragement to you, as it was to me.

  1. Hello,
This is the first time have had a chance to read your blog. I loved it!
I agree, life is not easy and sometimes we do forget that others have hardships too. We may not always be aware or know their struggles, but make no mistake, they have them too.
Remember Beth "I have never met a women that doesn't have pain".
    Take care,
    Bonnie
